Built in 1860, Donnybrook Cottage is our oldest cottage, but extensive renovations in 2003 mean you can enjoy the old with the comfort of the new! Set between the Hutt River and the Riesling Trail, and overlooking bush clad hills, this peaceful cottage can comfortably sleep at least 6 people.
You’ll feel right at home with big couches for relaxing in and a romantic electric flame fire heater. The dining area overlooks the Hutt River across a garden of old apple trees, and the kitchen has everything you need, including your breakfast provisions. The lounge and dining areas each have separate split system air-conditioning.
Whether it’s a romantic getaway for two or a friends/family trip, you’ll all sleep well in the two comfortable queen-sized beds, and the one double bed. Each with an electric blanket to make sure you’re nice and cozy.
The bright and sunny informal sitting area is the perfect place to eat your breakfast, relax with a coffee, read the papers and plan the days explorations. Or just sit back and while away the day in the garden, enjoy the fresh air and maybe cook some lunch on the barbecue. Or if you’re too cozy inside, there’s the TV with DVD/CD player and discs to keep everyone entertained. Or the spa for two, locally hand-made soaps, fresh towels, heated towel rails… it’s up to you!
